Hugh has been part of the canoe-tripping community in Temagami since 1959 as a camper, guide, camp owner, wilderness advocate, and canoe builder. Cathie and Hugh live in Wakefield, Quebec, next door to Hugh’s canoe shop, where he has built the majority of Camp Temagami’s fleet of wood-canvas canoes.
