has tripped with Camp Temagami since 2001 as a camper and a guide. Through this time Andrew has participated in trips throughout Ontario, Quebec, and Labrador. He is currently a Residence Don at Nipissing University where he is in his third year studying Geography.
is a professional artist who paints portraits and landscapes. He lives in Auburn, Alabama with his wife Victoria and children Christian and Savannah. Born and raised in Ontario he started canoe camp at age 9 and continued until 24, in that time becoming a tripper, trip leader and camp director of Camp Voyageur. He has paddled mostly in Ontario and Quebec including 5 trips to James Bay.
has been with Camp Temagami for 5 years and has tripped all over the Temagami region as well as Quebec and Labrador. Laura is currently in her fourth year of a joint Honours degree in Political Science and International Development Studies at McGill University.
has been with the camp for eight
years as both a camper and a guide. He has paddled all over the Temagami area and this summer he participated in his fifth trip to James Bay. Nick recently completed a Masters In Outdoor Education and has begun working on a Doctorate at Duke University in North Carolina.
has canoe tripped throughout Ontario and Quebec as well as in Manitoba. He is an experienced whitewater paddler and has hiked extensively
in New Zealand, Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. Chris has spent 12 summers
working with kids at camps, and is currently teaching grade 5 in Toronto,

fell in love with canoeing in 1988. Since then he has traveled throughout the Temagami region, as well extended trips in Labrador, Quebec, Ontario, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Mike is an experienced whitewater paddler and has guided public school, high school, university and adult groups on canoe trips. He currently lives in Ottawa where he teaches high school math, science and special education.
became a part of the Camp Temagami team in 2006. Canoeing in the area for over 15 years Mercede considers the Temagami waters a second home. Her guiding has taken her throughout Algonquin Park, Temagami and Northern Quebec over the last 8 years. A former classmate of Amy Whiting, Mercede holds a teaching degree specializing in Outdoor Education and is currently working at a private school in Toronto.
has spent the last 14 years getting in any canoe tripping
experience she can, be it in Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia. Her outdoor
experience includes five field seasons in the high Arctic working on post
graduate work, and numerous winter camping and all-season trekking escapades
throughout Ontario and Alberta. She is currently teaching an Outdoor
Education Leadership program at a high school in the Belleville area.
started guiding canoe trips with Camp Temagami in 2005. She brings four years of experience working in the bush and fighting forest fires with her. Lisle currently teaches elementary school in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
joined the camp in 2006. She has been camping in the Temagami region for over 10 years and has been guiding in the area since 1999. Amy has a degree in Outdoor Education and spends her winters in Temagami guiding trips for an independent school based in Oakville, Ontario.
experienced his first trip with the camp on the Albany River in 1988. He has devoted most of his summers to canoe tripping ever since. Trevor currently teaches at an independent school in Toronto.
