Lasting Friendships
Canoe tripping forms the core of campers’ experience at Camp Temagami. Everyone embarks on trips that are carefully designed for their female and male sections based on age and experience. Our sections are small and feature high staff-to-camper ratios. In camp, all groups live in wood cabins overlooking the waterfront and come together at each meal to enjoy nutritious food, camaraderie, and fun. Campers join in a wide range of supervised in-camp activities, including crafts, swimming, sailing, group games, and target sports.
On trip or off, each section determines its own schedule: apart from meal times, there are no periods and no bells, and each group enjoys the flexibility of building its’ own program around the goals and desires of its’ campers.
