Temagami Clearwater Expeditions
In early August, Camp Temagami converts from a children’s camp into Temagami Clearwater Expeditions, a canoe-tripping outpost for adult and family expeditions. Our comfortable cabins and excellent meals provide a terrific launch-point for trips in the Temagami area and beyond. Those who wish to get away earlier in the season can also arrange for a trip in June.
        We offer sections for either Mother-Daughter or Father-Son combinations that are guided by our staff over 3 to 6 day trips.
        We can also co-ordinate and provide our expert staff for anything from scenic lake trips for complete novices to challenging whitewater trips for experienced canoeists. Our adult programs use the same selection of quality traditional and modern equipment as our camp sections.

Family Trips
Temagami Clearwater Expeditions leads a variety of canoe trips for family groups. Even families with toddlers and young children find canoe tripping a great experience! Our staff are able to take care of your meal preparation and the bulk of portaging. Often the families or individual parents of our July campers come up in August with family friends for a trip. For many parents, this is a terrific opportunity to rediscover canoe tripping, and for newcomers it provides an opportunity to learn new skills, often from their children. Family canoe trips provide a unique opportunity for families to share new experiences. Call us and we’ll plan a trip for your family.

Adult Trips
If you are keen to get out on the water with a group of friends or work associates, but do not have time for all the planning required, talk to us! We’ll develop a route appropriate to your skill level, organize transportation, supplies and equipment, and provide (if desired) highly qualified staff to give you an exciting and rewarding canoe tripping experience.
